We are seeking a highly capable HR Section Head to lead the full spectrum of human resources management. This role requires strong expertise in full-function HR , including recruitment, training & development, employee relations, compensation & benefits, and compliance.
Familiar with employment pass (EP), invest pass (IP), and professional visit pass (PVP) application processes is a plus. And need to know as well as government-related requirements such as SOCSO, EIS, HRDN / HRD Corp, and EPF . Experience in the machining or manufacturing industry will be considered a strong advantage.
This position will also be responsible for collaboration with external agencies such as MAIA (Malaysia Aerospace Industry Association) and MARA and AMRACE to support talent development and industry initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
Full-Function HR Management
Oversee all HR functions including recruitment, onboarding, training & development, performance management, employee engagement, compensation & benefits, and HR administration.
Develop and implement HR policies, procedures, and best practices aligned with business needs and legal requirements.
Immigration & Pass Applications (it's a plus)
Manage the full process for EP, IP, and PVP applications , ensuring timely approvals and compliance with immigration rules.
Maintain strong relationships with government agencies and immigration offices.
Regulatory Compliance & Administration
Ensure accurate management of SOCSO, EIS, HRDN / HRD Corp, and EPF processes.
Prepare, review, and submit statutory reports in compliance with regulations.
Keep abreast of updates in labor laws and HR-related legislation.
Industry & Agency Cooperation
Collaborate with MAIA and MARA and AMRACE to support industry talent pipelines, internship programs, and HR initiatives.
Build strong networks with external training providers, universities, and government-linked organizations.
Strategic HR Support
Partner with senior management on workforce planning, succession planning, and organizational development.
Lead HR projects and initiatives to improve employee productivity, satisfaction, and retention.
Foster a positive workplace culture aligned with company values.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
5+ years of full-function HR experience , with at least 3–5 years in a supervisory or lead role .
Proven hands-on experience with EP, IP, and PVP applications .
In-depth knowledge of SOCSO, EIS, HRDN / HRD Corp, EPF administration and compliance.
Experience in the machining or manufacturing industry strongly preferred.
Demonstrated ability to cooperate with industry associations (MAIA) and government agencies (MARA), and AMRACE .
Strong interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills.
Proficiency in English; Mandarin / Malay is an advantage depending on work location.
