DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Job Summary
The Chief Revenue Officer (CRO) will be responsible for aligning and optimizing the company's overall revenue strategy and driving growth across all revenue-generating functions. This executive will collaborate closely with other leaders to ensure that the company's revenue targets are met while fostering an environment of innovation, efficiency, and customer focus. The CRO will lead and motivate cross-functional teams, identify new market opportunities, and deliver sustainable revenue growth in the competitive FMCG landscape.Job Description
Revenue Strategy Development : -
Develop and execute a comprehensive revenue strategy.Oversee the creation of long-term revenue models and establish short-term tactics to achieve revenue growth.Identify new opportunities for revenue generation and assess market trends to stay competitive.Sales Leadership : -
Lead and manage the sales team to achieve targets, while setting and maintaining high performance standards.Create and implement effective sales processes and systems that drive efficiency, growth, and customer satisfaction.Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, partners, and distributors.Marketing Alignment : -
Collaborate with the marketing team to ensure that brand positioning and product strategies align with revenue goals.Monitor and optimize the marketing campaigns to maximize lead generation and conversion rates.Ensure seamless integration of sales and marketing efforts to enhance customer engagement and loyalty.Cross-Functional Collaboration : -
Partner with the product development and supply chain teams to ensure that new products and offerings align with customer needs and market demand.Work closely with the finance team to develop revenue forecasts, ensure effective spend and revenue targets are aligned with overall company goals.Engage logistics and distribution for lower cost to serve while achieving distribution OTIF.Data-Driven Decision Making : -
Analyze and monitor key performance metrics (KPIs), distributor stock-levels, push-in / push out data, demand & supply numbers, and other information to assist with decision-making on a regular-basis.Use data to refine strategies, improve sales conversion, and reduce churn.Lead and drive a culture of performance-based accountability throughout the organization, both within and with our partners, distributors and retailers.Leadership and Team Development : -
Inspire and mentor cross-functional teams to consistently meet and exceed performance targets.Build and maintain a high-performing, customer-centric culture within the sales team.Provide ongoing training and development opportunities to team members as well as have a solid success plan in place for the next generation of sales-leaders.P&L Responsibility : -
Monitor and manage the revenue budget and ensure efficient allocation of resources to maximize ROI.Maintain a strong focus on profitability while driving top-line growth.REQUIREMENTS
REQUIRED EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCES :
Bachelor's degree in any related field. MBA or other advanced degree is preferred.Minimum of 15 years of experience in senior leadership roles in sales, marketing, or revenue management within the FMCG sector.
Proven track record of driving significant revenue growth in a competitive industry.Expertise in developing and implementing sales strategies across various channels both in-country as well as through exports (OEM and Home-brands).Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead, motivate, and manage cross functional teams.Deep understanding of the FMCG industry, customer behavior, and market dynamics.Data-driven approach to decision-making with advanced proficiency in CRM, sales forecasting, and analytics tools.Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.REQUIRED LANGUAGES : -
