Responsibilities

Source direct and indirect materials requested by internal departments Deal with suppliers for the best price and payment term Liaise with suppliers for timely delivery Coordinate and monitor all purchases to avoid any shortages, overcharges and breakage Manage supply chain related tasks Analyse the cost reduction activities, sustainability activities & alternative part replacement. Qualifications

A recognized Diploma / Degree in Operation Management, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Technology Management or equivalent education. Preferably 1 - 2 years related working experience in purchasing / buyer in the machinery / electronic manufacturing industry. Knowledge in Purchasing / Inventory / Material (Electronics & Mechanical) and Warehouse Management is an added advantage Self-starter and good in communication / negotiation skills Able to work in a fast-paced environment
