Business Analyst

The Business Analyst role will be responsible for : -Working with business users to perform requirements gathering, functional analysis, and business process mapping in a software development project setting. -Converting business requirements into functional and technical specifications. -Liaise, communicate with, and manage stakeholders in a software development project. -Manage and respond to user requests in a post go-live support environment. -Participate in the entire software development lifecycle (SDLC) - including but not limited to system analysis, design, and implementation. -Plan and execute user training, project documentation, SIT and UAT. -Coordinate project sprints and scrum sessions. -Supporting project team to ensure that software development project is completed on time, within budget and meets client’s expectations. The Business Analyst will possess the following skills / expertise : -Able to work independently and as part of a bigger team. -Strong command of English to communicate professionally at all levels. -Able to converse in Mandarin is a huge plus (our clients are Mandarin-speaking) -Able to write documentations and articulate ideas well. -Familiar with BPM, UML diagramming, User Stories to produce software / functional documentation. -Understanding of Agile and Scrum methodologies. -At least 2-3 years working experience in any software development projects. Fresh graduates with interest in business analysis and software projects are welcomed too! -Experience with visualization tools (e.g. Power BI, Google Data Studio, Tableau) will be an added advantage. -Good knowledge of software development and technical background is an added advantage. -IT software project management experience is an added advantage. -Able to manage direct reports, working closely with other teammates to produce results. -Require to travel to client location for workshops, sprint reviews, deployment or support. All travelling costs will be reimbursed. -Strong presentation skills. -Strong communication skills at all levels. -Keen eye for details, strong problem solving and analytical skills. -Good general business knowledge.
