Urgent opening for Counsellor for Professional Courses.

Position : Counsellor.

Location : Deogarh, Odisha.

Salary : As per industry standards.

Education : BCA / MCA / BE / B.Tech (IT / CS).

Responsibilities

• Consult students regarding educational issues such as course and program selection, class scheduling, truancy, and career planning.
• Consult individuals to help them understand and overcome personal, social, or behavioral problems affecting their educational or vocational situations.
• Maintain accurate and complete student records as required by laws, district policies, and administrative regulations.
• Confer with parents or guardians, trainers, other counselors, and administrators to resolve students’ behavioral, academic, and other problems.
• Provide crisis intervention to students.
• Communicate with parents and guardians to discuss their children's progress, determine their priorities for their children, and assess their resource needs.
• Prepare students for placements.
• Be well‑versed with counseling and convincing.
• Efficiently handle queries and address them effectively.
• Have excellent communication skills.
• Be a graduate; any stream is welcome.
• Be aware of the Degree Program / Ed Tech Program Admission Ecosystem.
• Have overall experience of at least 2 years in counseling / telecounseling.
• Have good interpersonal skills.
• Be proficient with MS Office.
