Stacking & Pressing Engineer

Responsibilities

• To innovate, re-engineer / develop, simulate and optimize processes and systems to best suit the manufacturing of a product.
• To conduct continuous quality improvements (dimensional & functional) for product and processes.
• To optimize glass production processes with 5M approach.
• To adhere to customer’s product quality requirements and achieve a stable and high yielding process for sustainability.
• Perform cost down initiatives and value engineering in order to establish a cost effective production process.
• To perform statistical and technical analysis on production failures and improve production capability.
• To manage and revise work instructions and process control plan on a timely basis.
• To improve process efficiency & cost through minor / major automation & IT initiatives.
• Responsible for the overall stability of the processes and take necessary steps to eradicate deviations.
• Practice continuous improvement (7 wastes elimination) as a daily culture at the workplace.
• Attend to any other work / project assigned to you by your superior(s) from time to time.
• Adhere to all company Rules & Regulations including prescribed dept. work ethics and procedures.
