Job Purpose
Plan and perform energy audit to evaluate energy usage and propose recommendation for energy conversation measures.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct detailed energy audits of mechanical systems in buildings, industrial facilities and infrastructure to identify opportunities for energy efficiency improvements.
- Analyze HVAC systems, boilers, chillers, pumps and other mechanical equipment to assess performance and energy consumption.
- Utilize energy modelling software and measurement tools to evaluate energy usage patterns and identify areas of inefficiency or waste.
- Recommend and design energy conservation measures (ECMs) to optimize mechanical systems, reduce energy consumption and improve overall efficiency.
- Collaborate with clients, stakeholders and interdisciplinary teams to develop cost effective and sustainable solutions for energy savings.
- Prepare comprehensive audit reports detailing findings, recommendations and estimated cost savings for implementation of ECMs.
- Assist in the implementation and commissioning of energy efficiency projects, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Provide technical support and expertise to clients regarding mechanical systems, energy management and sustainability initiatives.
- Stay updated with emerging technologies, best practices and regulatory requirements related to energy efficiency and mechanical engineering.
- Participate in training sessions, workshops and professional development activities to enhance knowledge and skills in energy auditing and mechanical engineering.
- Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
- Carry out energy audit / assessment to evaluate the condition and performance of job sites.
- Generate documents and reports as required.
Requirements
Qualification and Experience
Bachelor Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.Minimum 1-2 years working experience in HVAC field is a must.Knowledge and Skills Required
Technical and report writing skills are a must.Experience with HVAC design, energy analysis and optimization of mechanical systems.Good fundamental Engineering knowledge in HVAC system.Good communication skills.
