Accounts Executive

Overview

Ekowood International Berhad, a leading manufacturer and exporter of premium quality wood-based products, is seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Accounts Executive to join our team in Gopeng, Perak. This is a ONE Year contract position that will be responsible for providing comprehensive accounting support to ensure the smooth and efficient running of our financial operations.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the timely preparation of a full set of accounts, weekly, month-end, and financial year end closing with Note to Accounts and all related accounts schedules. Preparation of monthly, quarterly and yearly management reports.
• Perform accurate data posting for journal vouchers, payments, and receipts into the accounting system in accordance with the company’s policies and procedures.
• Reconcile accounts and ensure accurate financial records.
• Assist in treasury function to monitor bank facilities repayment schedule and cash book maintenance.
• Work closely with other departments to obtain required information and resolve discrepancies.
• Liaise with external auditors for annual audit, tax agents, bankers and other relevant stakeholders as required.
• Perform any ad-hoc assignments and reports as requested by management.

8.30am - 6.15pm (Monday - Friday)
