Overview
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Account Executive to join our finance team in Ipoh, Perak. The ideal candidate will have at least 10 years of hands-on experience in full set accounts, financial reporting, and budgeting. You will play a vital role in managing the company’s day-to-day accounting operations and ensuring compliance with financial regulations and internal policies.
Responsibilities
- Handle full set of accounts including general ledger, accounts payable / receivable, and bank reconciliations.
- Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and yearly financial reports.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax laws, and company policies.
- Manage cash flow planning, budgeting, and forecasting activities.
- Coordinate with external auditors, tax agents, and other regulatory bodies.
- Monitor and analyze accounting data and produce financial reports or statements.
- Maintain accurate records of all financial transactions.
- Assist in the implementation and improvement of accounting systems and processes.
- Support management in decision-making by providing financial insights and analysis.
Qualifications
Diploma / Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.Minimum 10 years of relevant working experience in accounting.Strong knowledge of Malaysian accounting standards and tax regulations.Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., SQL, UBS, AutoCount, or similar).Excellent attention to detail and strong analytical skills.Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines.Good communication skills in both English and Bahasa Malaysia.Preferably based in or willing to relocate to Ipoh, Perak.Benefits
