The incumbent of this role will be responsible for ensuring the availability and reliability of the organization’s network infrastructure to support the business, and to safeguard the security of the organization’s IT environment.
Responsibilities
- Monitor network, security, patch management, and endpoint protection trends and stay up-to-date with the latest technologies to inform business recommendations.
- Strategize network and security refreshes considering business needs, user productivity, and device performance for the Annual Operating Plan (AOP).
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to gather IT requirements and ensure post-live operations, maintenance and support are incorporated.
- Collaborate with other units, functions and third parties in annual security posture assessments to close security gaps within the agreed timeline.
- Communicate with stakeholders about projected business growth to ensure the network operates at optimal performance.
- Establish Level 2 maintenance and support contracts with network and security vendors, incorporating service levels and scheduled maintenance to maximize availability, reliability and integrity of applications.
- Assist with the Team\'s budget for the AOP that includes application requirements from stakeholders to support business plans.
- Execute incident management to minimize disruption to network-dependent activities and prevent or minimize recurrence.
- Attend to approved service requests in the Helpdesk System to minimize waiting time and user dissatisfaction.
- Prepare and timely update ISO procedures and online guides to ensure procedures are accurate and standardized for support steps.
- Keep abreast of global cybersecurity developments and understand threat impacts, staying alert for potential cyberattacks.
- On-call rotation for support outside normal business hours, occasional maintenance during non-business hours and weekends, and occasional outstation travel as needed.

Graduate in Information Technology, Computer Science, Software / System Engineering, Network, or equivalentMinimum 3 years of experience as a network and security administrator with a support roleExperience in cloud technology, server administration, Windows / Linux administration, desktop / laptop support, and project management is advantageousSeniority level
