Job description :

• Main Building Work related projects
• To assist the Project Manager / Construction Manager to control and monitor all related Environmental, Safety & Health matters on the project.
• To implement all policies, activities, procedures, instructions as relevant and required by the Quality Management System.
• To promote use of process approach, risk-based thinking and life cycle perspective in the project.
• To promote customer focus and improvement in the project.
• To comply with client and applicable legal and other requirements.
• To determine risks, opportunities and plan actions and ensure they are implemented.
• To ensure that applicable environmental, safety and health legal and other requirements are fulfilled.
• To promote environmental, safety and health awareness and conduct induction.
• To implement and monitor environmental, safety and health program at work sites.
• To monitor and control subcontractor's environmental, safety and health practices.
• To enforce the use of personal protective equipment, and continuously improve environmental, safety and health practices at workplace.
• To enforce the provision of firefighting equipment and first aid kits at workplace.
• To attend to, investigate and report any environmental, safety and health emergency, accidents, near miss accidents, incidents, dangerous occurrence, occupational poisoning or diseases at the workplace.
• To conduct environmental, safety and health inspection and internal audits.
• To collect, analyse and maintain statistics on accidents, dangerous occurrence, occupational poisoning or diseases at the workplace.
• To maintain good house-keeping and implement safety practices.
• To undertake any and all other duties and responsibilities as so instructed by the superior.
