Production Planner

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Develop and maintain production schedules to meet customer demand and optimize capacity utilization.
• Manage final process capacity planning and to ensure production plans align with the available resources and production capabilities.
• Collaborate with procurement teams to ensure timely availability of raw materials and supplies needed for Final production.
• Monitor Final Packout production and identify potential issues or bottlenecks that may impact production schedules, and work with relevant teams to develop and implement solutions.
• Lead Daily Production Commitment meetings to review and adjust schedules based on changing demands or constraints.
• Use production data to analyze and identify areas for improvement and implement continuous improvement initiatives to optimize production processes and reduce over production.
• Monitor inventory levels and work with inventory management teams to optimize inventory levels while minimizing waste.
• Develop and track Final production metrics and KPIs, regular updates and reports to management on production planning activities against goals and identify areas for improvement.
• Deliver leadership and guidance to production planning teams to ensure the necessary resources, training, and support to meet production goals and objectives.
• Staying up-to-date with industry trends, technology advancements, and best practices in production planning to maintain a competitive edge.
