PURCHASER

Responsibilities

• To always explore new source of supply at oversea market.
• To source, select and negotiate for the best purchase price with local and oversea supplier.
• Excellence in analyse & compare material rates.
• Monitor and co-ordinate deliveries of items between suppliers to ensure that all items are delivered to site / warehouse on time
• Liaise with warehouse to ensure the purchased materials does not exceed inventory level
• Viewing and monitor buying forward in foreign exchange currency rate to minimize the loss in currency exchange
• Prepare daily, monthly and annual procurement plans and progress reports as required
• Handle all the documents handling such as official letter to request for quotation, quotation comparison, issue purchase order and coordinate with account department for making payment to supplier etc
• Familiar in forwarding and shipping terms is added advantage
• Assist in general office administration work, such as petty cash, office cleanliness, utility bills etc
