Job Description 1. Production Engineer

Plan coordinated and achieve committed goals.

Ensure the optimum utilization of available equipment, space and labour-force to attain plan production objectives.

Assure achievement of management and manufacturing objective through the proper selection, development, training and motivation of subordinates

Plan for efficient material and optimize cycle times, reduce scrap rates, and improve part quality.

Familiar and Conduct IATF 16949 / ISO 14001 internal audit.

Continuously plan to improve work environment, methods, effectiveness and resource utilization and critically review and monitor operating results.

Maintain process documentation, including Control Plans, Work Instructions, and Process Sheets.

Troubleshooting & Problem-Solving :

Investigate and resolve process-related defects (e.g., warpage, sink marks, flash, short shots).

Perform root cause analysis (RCA) using tools like 5 Why, Fishbone Diagram, or 8D.

Address machine, material, or tooling-related issues affecting production

Assure maintenance of product standards through effective administration of good manufacturing practices program and high level of housekeeping.

Ensure IATF 16949 & ISO 14001 procedures are implemented and followed effectively.

Conduct mold trial and feedback for mold improvement (Injection Section). Validate new mold and processes and through Process Qualification (PQ), Capability Studies (Cp / Cpk), and First Article Inspection (FAI).

New Product Introduction (NPI) :

Collaborate with Design, Tooling, and R&D teams to ensure manufacturability of new parts.

Support mold trials (T0, T1, T2) and ensure smooth production ramp-up.

Participate in Design for Manufacturing (DFM) reviews.

Equipment & Tooling Support :

Work with Tooling Engineers to maintain and improve mold performance.

Recommend upgrades / modifications to injection molding machines, robots, and auxiliary equipment.

Ensure proper mold maintenance and preventive maintenance (PM) schedules are followed.

Safety & Environmental Compliance :

Ensure all processes comply with OSHA, safety regulations, and environmental standards.

Promote a culture of safety in the molding area.

Undertake other special assignments, ad-hoc functions and related duties as and when required by your superior.

Job Description 2. Production Executive

Plan and monitor the production operation to ensure the production output is achieved.

Troubleshoot and solve production problems and liaise with related departments to ensure department goals are achieved.

Always communicate with PPC (Production Planning Control) to ensure all the Output achieve (MO close) for better performance.

Continuously monitor and conduct improvement in work processes and methods.

Control and create safety awareness among subordinates.

Ensure safety requirement compliance, enforcement of PPE, and be proactive in always identifying safety hazards and keep shop floor 5S in tidy condition.

Enforce the implementation of company rules, regulations, and policies.

Ensure production quality and safety standard is complied.

Prepare timely production and others performance reports. Analyse the production and other indices performance reports, and develop or recommend the necessary action plan.

10.   Supervise, train, and motivate subordinates in all aspects of their work performance.

11.   Record the training or guidance given in Personal Training Record and monitor through skill chart.

12.   Check and recommend the action to be taken to those workers are absent from work (either leader or machine operators).

13.   Any other tasks that may be assigned.
