About the role
Our client is seeking a results-driven Sales Manager to lead the growth of industrial automation and low voltage electrical components from a leading global technology brand. This role focuses on business development, key account management, and sales leadership , while driving revenue across Malaysia. You will lead a team, develop winning sales strategies, and build strong relationships with customers and partners to maximize market share and profitability.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute sales strategies to expand market share and achieve revenue targets for low voltage product lines.
- Lead, coach, and manage a team of 4 sales professionals to deliver consistent results and growth.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, channel partners, and distributors to drive long-term business opportunities.
- Identify new business prospects and project opportunities across industrial and commercial sectors.
- Support the sales team with technical knowledge, product training, and joint customer engagements.
- Collaborate with principals and suppliers to align sales initiatives with regional and global objectives.
- Track competitor activity, customer insights, and industry trends to stay ahead of market developments.
- Deliver accurate sales forecasts, pipeline reports, and business reviews to management.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or related discipline.Minimum 6–8 years’ experience in technical sales or business development , ideally in the electrical or industrial automation sector.At least 3 years’ leadership experience managing a sales team.Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.Excellent communication, negotiation, and client relationship management skills.Commercially savvy with strong business acumen and market awareness.Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and adaptable in a fast-paced environment.To apply, please click "APPLY NOW" or email Nahar Shah at Data provided is for recruitment purposes only.
