Shift Supervisor

2.1 Ensure Safety Compliance

Ensure the safety of personnel and machinery during shift operations. Review work safety analyses and safe operating parameters for machines and equipment, and provide appropriate recommendations.

2.2 Monitor Equipment Performance

Monitor machine and equipment performance in line with design intent. Collect and analyse performance data to support task execution and recommend improvements where necessary.

2.3 Process Optimization

Utilize documented procedures and methodologies to optimize process performance,

aiming to meet or exceed quality and schedule targets.

2.4 Operational Troubleshooting

Identify and resolve operational issues by executing effective problem-solving techniques. Ensure data accuracy to enable appropriate corrective actions and prevent recurrence.

2.5 Shift Handover & Communication

Conduct proper task handovers and toolbox meetings. Complete all relevant checklists and shift documentation. Maintain effective communication with incoming and outgoing shifts on safety, planning, and performance targets.

2.6 Manpower & Issue Management

Review and manage workforce allocation to ensure tasks are performed safely and efficiently. Address disciplinary matters, non-compliance, and psychosocial issues within the shift.

2.7 Training & Development

Provide on-the-job training and coaching using operating manuals, vendor documentation, and hands-on experience. Enhance operator and trainee competencies using the Skills Inventory Document as a guide.

2.8 Procedure Development & Update

Develop, review, and update standard operating procedures to reflect the latest operational knowledge and HSE (Health, Safety & Environment) requirements. Ensure relevant personnel are informed and trained accordingly.

2.9 Task Flexibility

Demonstrate flexibility by taking on new assignments or temporary roles based on

company requirements.

2.10 Compliance with Leadership Instructions

Adhere to instructions and directives issued by the department head as required.

Job Types : Full-time, Permanent

Pay : From RM1,700.00 per month
