Specification & Sales Executive

Job Description :

• Maintain, develop and increase product sales / specification through constant market involvement.  Achieve budget, Product Sales will cover the Sika Kimia business.  Direct customers will be waterproofing applicators.  Sales of Sika Kimia products to builders will be through retailers
• Maintain contribution levels
• Service existing accounts by up-dating on products available, monitoring special needs and dealing with any problems

• Be aware of opposition comparative products and be able to convince customers of Sika Kimia advantage over them
• Develop rapport with customers
• Develop new accounts within nominated territory, ie; cold canvass regularly
• Constantly provide feedback to National Sales Manager on market developments, trends and expectations
• Plan a daily run to maximize customer coverage
• Be able to negotiate sales with customer within set boundaries and consult National Sales Manager where required
• Be technically up to date on product range, so that customer inquiries can be handled independently
• Understand customers' businesses to look for avenues to increase sales
• Be aware of customers credit limits
• Contribute to and reinforce the effective operation of the Quality Management System
• Assist with development of product ranges, particularly waterproofing, by reporting on market demands for product / pricing / packaging
• To control and minimize expenses
• Any other duties as may be assigned by the superior from time to time
