Responsibilities

Ensure an efficient filling system to obtain result on procurement functions.

Ensure that goods being ordered are delivered on time and in good quality.

Interact closely with operating equipment and other F&B supplier.

Consolidate food products for better price negotiation and contracts.

Source quotations from suppliers to ensure purchases are made in the best interest of the company.

Process assigned PR’s.

Performs market survey, including competitor hotels and make comparison with current suppliers prices to ensure competitiveness.

Maintain & regularly update vendor profile files to comply with the Shangri-La requirements.

Prepare weekly / monthly reports.

We Are Looking For Someone Who Has

Diploma, Degree or any relevant certification in the field.

Preferably with at least 2 years work experience in Procurement / Sourcing from any business industry.

Has good communication and people management skills.

Communicates and writes with fluency in English (as well as the local language).

Has strong organizational skills with ability to multi-task.

Able to communicate priorities and drives business results.

Demonstrate high level of integrity and honesty.

Smart with pleasing personality. Has good negotiation skills.

A self-starter and customer-oriented.

Is a friendly, helpful and trustworthy leader.

Is a strong team player.

Displays initiative, commitment to professional values.

Is a critical thinker and a problem-solver.

Is knowledgeable in any Procurement System (i.e. SCM, SAP, etc.).

Is proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
