Accountabilities :

Perform structured Cabling & Network System

Perform UTP & fiber optic patch cord patching activity between network switches and patch panel / fiber panel.

Perform network switch installation and minor configuration, remote desktop to others engineer and wireless AP installation.

Identify, track, cable dressing & troubleshoot of UTP & fiber optic patch cord.

Test every newly installed or relocated cable in accordance with established procedures

Keep cable neatly tied and bundled while maintaining safety standards.

Record time and materials used.

Assist other team members with network equipment.

Act as the first point of contact for clients with issues concerning their network and cabling equipment.

Interact with clients via phone, email or teams chats and provide concise written / verbal instructions.

Resolve issues related to the network matters.

Prioritize and manage the workflow.

Keep track of system issues and adhere to the agreed timeline until an issue is resolved.

Follow standard procedures to resolve issues by connecting them to relevant internal departments.

Maintain procedural documents and reports.

Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve issues using customer input.

Requirements :

Experience at least 1 year in site construction environment is preferred.

Be able to work in various environments including outdoors in varying degrees of weather working at heights, and in small, confined spaces.

Operate hand tools, power tools, ladders, and network test gear.

Familiar with Cisco and others network product.

Monitor daily performance of technical systems.

Follow up with clients / other contractor, ensuring their network systems are functioning properly after troubleshooting.

Maintain procedural documents and reports.

Follow standard procedures to resolve issues by connecting them to relevant internal departments.

Provide prompt, accurate feedback to customers.
