Waiter / Waiteress / Supervisor

Position Overview

We are seeking enthusiastic and service-oriented Waiters / Waitresses to join our team at The Ganga Café. As the face of our restaurant, you will play a vital role in creating a welcoming atmosphere and ensuring guests enjoy a memorable dining experience with our wholesome, vegetarian, and planet-conscious cuisine.

Key Responsibilities

Greet and seat guests warmly, presenting menus and introducing daily specials.

Take accurate food and beverage orders and input them into the POS system.

Serve food and drinks efficiently, ensuring correct presentation and portioning.

Maintain knowledge of the menu, including vegetarian, vegan, and dietary options, to answer guest questions and provide recommendations.

Ensure tables are properly set, clean, and reset for new guests.

Assist in preparing bills, processing payments, and handling basic customer queries.

Collaborate with the kitchen and fellow staff to deliver smooth service.

Monitor guest satisfaction, promptly addressing any issues with courtesy.

Uphold hygiene, cleanliness, and safety standards in the dining area.

Support special events, buffets, and catering services when required.

Qualifications & Skills

Must be Malaysian Citizen

Previous experience in F&B or hospitality is an advantage but not mandatory.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Positive attitude, energy, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Passion for food, service, and creating a warm customer experience.

Team player with flexibility for shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
