Despite a decade of e-commerce in South-East Asia, 80% of electronics is still sold offline. E-Commerce in SEA is very complex with marketplaces, social, live, messengers and brand.com all being important parts of the mix. Offline shops remain a preferred destination with shopping malls offering air condition, convenience and many other entertainment options.
Circular Commerce is enabling brands to leverage on digital channels to curate a loyal audience and full-fill their needs via a full omni-channel presence – online and offline.
RESPONSIBILITIES
As VP Marketing, your responsibilities include :
- Own the brands under Circular Commerce umbrella starting from the Unique Value Proposition over the personality & tone of voice to the design language.
- Define the strategy to reach our target customers in an omni-channel approach leveraging on social, conversational commerce and lead-gen tactics.
- Optimize customer acquisition costs and lifetime value in a data-driven way, using performance marketing and retention channels.
- Be part of a close nit senior leadership group, evolve and drive our vision, in an extremely fast-moving ecosystem.
REQUIREMENTS
10+ years of experience across various aspects of digital marketing in South-East AsiaTrack record building brands and bringing them into a market, preferably in the electronics sectorStructured approach to problem solving and numbers driven, while at the same time bringing an eye for the emotional side of brandingAbility to define multi-channel user journeys, starting on social over traditional web to conversational commerce touch-pointsTeam player who brings an entrepreneurial mindset and thrives in a cross-functional and fast-paced environmentBENEFITS
