As an Operations Associate in the Monee / ShopeePay team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth execution of digital payment processes, improving operational workflows, and supporting business expansion. You will collaborate with cross‑functional teams to enhance payment efficiency, merchant operations, risk management, and customer experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee day‑to‑day payment operations, ensuring smooth transaction processing and issue resolution.
• Monitor key operational metrics, identify inefficiencies, and propose improvements.
• Work closely with internal teams (Product, Risk, Compliance, Business Development) to streamline payment operations and merchant onboarding.
• Support the implementation of new payment features, policies, and fraud prevention measures.
• Assist in troubleshooting payment failures, merchant disputes, and customer escalations.
• Collaborate with external partners such as banks, payment providers, and regulatory bodies to ensure compliance with financial regulations.
• Analyze operational data to identify trends and develop reports to improve service quality.
• Support automation and digitalisation of processes to enhance efficiency and scalability.
• Ensure all transactions and processes comply with security, risk, and regulatory standards.
