Overview
Build and lead the Device Protection and Insurtech Exchange businesses. This role will drive development of the company strategy through to the execution of the business plan, driving not only new business, but delivering market leading products and digital customer service to our partners and customers. The General Manager will spearhead the growth of a commercial and consumer lines General Insurance business and lead the transformation from a traditional operation to user-centric, data-driven and digital-first organization.
You will be responsible for…
- Top-line sales and underwriting performance of the entire business with full P&L responsibility on top line and bottom-line results.
- Developing and implementing business strategy to drive profitable growth of an emerging digital insurance business
- Building strong relationships with both traditional distributors and digital partners to maximize sales opportunities and enhance distribution capabilities across all lines
- Oversight and management of the business strategy in conjunction with Group office and Functional leads
- Digital transformation of front and back-office processes, building best-of-class digital platforms, portals, website, mobile applications to improve distribution effectiveness and end-to-end customer experience
- Ensuring regulatory compliance across the entire business

Completed degree from a reputable university in Business Administration, Technology, Marketing, or related field, or equivalent experienceProven experience with at least 15 years in leadership, driving business growth and key accounts managementBackground in telco, retail, or insurance industriesRelevant experience in driving large account deals in targeted industriesLeadership that drives business success; problem-solver with vision and directionAnalytical with a strategic outlookIn-depth knowledge of management and corporate governanceExcellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective management of people at all levelsNote
