Position : Assistant Housekeeping Manager - Hyatt House Kuala Lumpur, Mont Kiara

Responsibilities
- Contributes to the hotel’s commitment to high quality guest service and teamwork; maintains high standards of excellence.
- Maintains the cleanliness of assigned guest rooms.
- Supports and trains Hosts-Housekeeping on cleaning of rooms, handling laundry equipment, and related tasks.
- Prepares daily and weekly work schedules reflecting business needs and key performance indicators.
- Conducts checks on rooms, pool area, gym, meeting rooms, public areas, guest washrooms, F&B outlets and back of the house.
- Coordinates and inspects with Engineering and Contractors on work carried out by Contractors (e.g., rooms, linen delivery, guest laundry, uniforms, laundry handling).
- Ensures meeting rooms and toilets are clean before the start of functions.
- Plans and schedules periodic works such as blocking and releasing out-of-order rooms, carpet shampooing, corridor cleaning, lobby buffing and high dusting.
- Manages Lost and Found items storage, ensuring proper recording and handling per policies and procedures.
- Works to drive hotel revenue and supports the growth of the hotel (teamwork and multi-tasking in a fast-paced environment).
- Other duties as assigned consistent with role and hotel needs.
Qualifications
Minimum 3 years prior hotel experience in Housekeeping is required.Language Skills : Good working knowledge of English; proficiency in local language may be required.Ability to demonstrate teamwork and multi-tasking in a fast-paced environment.Strong interpersonal communication skills.Desire to drive revenue and contribute to the growth of the hotel.Pleasant personality.Experience in schedules planning and daily operations in housekeeping.Note : Only candidates with ongoing working rights for Malaysia will be considered (citizenship and permanent residency included).Employment details
