We are currently looking for a Rigging Artist to join our quest.

Job Summary :

The Rigging Artist is responsible for designing and maintaining a smooth and efficient rig for CG assets. He or she must have a strong understanding of CG pipelines and production methods and a strong management style with excellent organizational and artistic skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Work with the Rigging Lead / Supervisor to establish a rig that fully supports an animation style
• Work closely with Animators to develop rigs that will allow animators the full range of motion and acting that is called for by the story, as well as a logical and easy to use control structure
• Work to create top quality body and facial rigs that meet the desired quality and style
• Create and adjust rigging standards
• Provide creative ideas and solutions on both visual and technical level
• Be able to flag and solve potential problems to stay on schedule
• Organize work and prepare presentation elements for approval
• Execute the corrections requested by the Supervisor and the Director by showing an analytic mind
• Communicate and seek information if necessary
• Constantly be learning and experimenting with new techniques
• Be a key contributor to create an engaging animated film of top quality, while managing and reducing the complexities of production
