We are seeking a motivated welding intern to join our team and gain hands-on experience in industrial welding and fabrication processes. This position is ideal for students or recent graduates in welding technology or related fields looking to apply their classroom knowledge in a real-world setting.
- To work closely with the supervisor and relevant sections on all welding-related activities, including assisting in rework.
- Daily housekeeping task inclusive of machine upkeep.
- Daily maintenance on the machine.
- Update Job Pack and Move Oracle system after process completed.
- Perform basic welding tasks under supervision, including TIG
- Support senior welders with cutting, grinding, and fitting metal components.
- Inspect and clean welds to ensure quality standards are met.
- Maintain a clean, organised, and safe work environment.
- Learn and adhere to company safety protocols and quality procedures.
- Document work performed and report progress to supervisors.
- Currently enrolled in or recently completed a welding programme or technical training in GTAW, SMAW and GMAW.
- Basic understanding of welding techniques and safety practices.
- Familiarity with tools such as grinders, torches, and measuring instruments.
- The ability to read technical drawings or blueprints is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn.
