Role Purpose
The Talent Acquisition Intern will play a vital support role in ensuring the smooth execution of recruitment and onboarding activities during a team transition period. This position is designed to assist with administrative and coordination tasks to maintain continuity in recruitment operations. The intern will gain valuable hands-on experience in end-to-end recruitment support, stakeholder communication, and process coordination.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in conducting reference checks for shortlisted candidates.
- Support in preparing and issuing offer letter for the new joiner
- Send out interview invitations and rejection emails in a timely manner.
- Assist in sourcing candidates for internship and hospitality roles.
- Follow up on operational matters such as LinkedIn postings and Venovox payments.
- Prepare supporting letters for PBB account openings for new hires.
- Coordinate “report-to-duty” communications for new joiners.
- Share onboarding details with relevant stakeholders (HR, Tech Support, Admin).
- Communicate with new joiners to complete onboarding forms and documents.
- Create JIRA tickets for laptop and equipment requests.
- Book meeting rooms and assist with interview scheduling as required.
- Maintain recruitment trackers and assist in administrative tasks as assigned.
Qualifications & Requirements
Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field, with a CGPA of 3.5 and above.Good communication skills in Englis & Malay (verbal and written) are required.Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask.Comfortable working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.Basic proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, Power Point).Strong interpersonal skills and a proactive attitude toward learning.
