We are currently looking for a Senior / Sales Specialist (Infection Prevention), to help achieve specific sales objectives by providing sales coverage of assigned accounts or within assigned territory. Position intended for individuals who are in the medtech / medical devices industry and have demonstrated an aptitude for clinical value selling.
Principal Accountabilities / Key Responsibilities
- Proactive identification of new users and business opportunities for accelerated product penetration
- Independent management of own schedule to coordinate regular internal and customer meetings and support activities including regular medical education support in OR or related dept for the use / application of 3M / Solventum products for Surgical Solutions Portfolio.
- Build account intimacy with value added touch points, generate sales leads and leverage various products F.A.B to meet the customer's needs.
- Manage all aspects of multiple customer accounts and coordinate input and support from other internal business functions
- Consistently build strong customer support and a preference for company products.
- Gain deep expertise in both 3M / Solventum and competitor products.
- Identify and foster opportunities to identify, develop and utilise Key Opinion Leaders.
- Work with 3M / Solventum Clinical specialist to co-lead joint calls with customers to discuss scientific evidence, guidelines and best practices in the adoption & utilization of 3M / Solventum Surgical solutions.
- Accountable for customer satisfaction and providing high quality service to meet customer’s expectations.
- Responsible for keeping commitments in a timely manner and resolving issues promptly.
- Monitors and gather marketing intelligence, competitor sales information and product strategies.
- Participates in all trade shows, conferences and other projects as determined by Sales Manager.
- Conducts all business activities according to applicable rules and regulations and observes all company policy and procedures to ensure meeting ethical standards and compliance obligations.
- Willing to travel for market coverage within Johor or Malaysia as & when required for work related activities or events.
Required Experience & Qualification
A Degree in Sales / Marketing / Nursing or any medical related fieldMin 3-5 years of sales related experience in medical devices sales in Malaysia.Experience working in an Operating Theatre environment, strong working relationships with operating theatre nurses, CSSD personnels and surgeons would be an added advantageA mature individual with a business development and a winning mindsetHas strong analytical thinking, interpersonal, communication and presentation skillsAble to work well independently and also cross-collaborate effectively with the various stakeholders in the team.Job Details
