Get to know the Role :
Reporting to our Head of Finance SSC, you will lead the Finance Shared Services Centre (SSC) RTR operations for all countries, including ensuring accurate and compliant financial reporting, while driving process excellence, automation and standardization across the end-to-end RTR function. You will also be shaping the strategic direction of Finance SSC for RTR function by collaborating with the Finance Centre Of Excellence (CoE) to ensure the alignment with the broader business and finance transformation agenda.
This role is based on-site in our Petaling Jaya office.
Responsibilities
- You will lead high-volume Record-to-Report (RTR) activities across all legal entities, ensuring month-end close, standardized processes, and financial accuracy across general ledger, intercompany, fixed assets, payment gateways, reconciliations, and transaction processing.
- You will collaborate with Country Finance teams and auditors to support audit readiness and coordinate internal and external audits, while ensuring compliance with IFRS and internal controls during monthly, quarterly, and annual closes.
- You will maintain and enhance SOX and internal control frameworks for RTR operations in partnership with Group SOX and Internal Controls teams, ensuring regulatory compliance.
- You will lead and mentor a team of 5 to 8 direct reports within an overall team of 70+, fostering continuous learning and operational excellence.
- You will serve as the primary point of contact for Finance COE, Country Finance, and Group Finance teams, operating with a service-oriented mindset to meet or exceed SLA targets.
- You will oversee workforce management planning for the RTR function in collaboration with the Head of SSC, ensuring optimal resource availability and seamless work transitions with Finance COE and Global Process Owners.
- You will drive innovation and transformation within the RTR function by leveraging new technologies such as Generative AI and machine learning, working closely with Finance COE and Digital Finance Academy to implement training programs and enhance financial reporting capabilities.
Qualifications
