Operation Manager

About the role

As the Operation Manager at Keymate Mechatronics United Sdn. Bhd., you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the day-to-day operations of our state-of-the-art manufacturing facility located in the vibrant Kulim Hi-Tech Park, Kedah. This full-time position will see you lead a team of dedicated professionals to ensure the efficient and effective delivery of our industry-leading mechatronics products and services.

What you'll be doing

• Develop and implement operational strategies to maximize productivity, quality, and cost-effectiveness.
• Monitor production timelines and ensure alignment with customer requirements and delivery schedules.
• Evaluate existing manufacturing processes and drive improvements to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
• Plan and schedule operations for CNC machines to meet production targets.
• Improve process capability and increase production volume while maintaining and enhancing quality standards.
• Monitor and analyze key performance metrics to identify inefficiencies and implement corrective actions.
• Determine project specifications by reviewing product design, customer requirements, and performance standards; conduct technical studies and prepare cost estimates.
• Ensure product quality and maintain company reputation by meeting customer requirements and expectations.
• Ensure strict compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize workflows and resolve operational challenges.
• Prepare and present project status reports, including analysis of trends and recommendations for improvement.
• Coordinate with Purchasing, Sales, R&D, and other departments to support smooth business operations.
• Drive continuous improvement by applying lean manufacturing principles across operations.
• Provide leadership and mentorship to team members, promoting a culture of collaboration and innovation.
• Investigate and resolve production issues to minimize downtime and maintain product quality.
• Ensure compliance with company ISO standards and safety regulations during task execution.
• Perform additional tasks as assigned by the General Manager.
