Production Team Leader

Job descriptionEnforce compliance with HSE, 5S, and quality rules, reporting incidents and near misses. Maintain quality and process adherence to meet required quality levels. Participate in weekly production planning and ensure daily production targets are met. Track progress, analyze production records, and report performance to management. Identify and address production issues to minimize delays and disruptions. Ensure achievement of production schedules in accordance with cost, quality, and lead time objectives. Participate in load / resource balance with the Production Manager. Lead daily short meetings with the team in the designated sector. Spend time on leadership role and support value‑add work on the shop floor. Organize team training needs and manage versatility according to defined targets. Contribute to industrial process improvement with functional support. Maintain effective communication within the production team and collaborate with other departments. Diploma or bachelor’s degree in engineering, industrial, or equivalent. 3–5 years of relevant experience in manufacturing production management or assistance managing various production activities. Strong safety, customer first, and quality mindset. Strong communication, problem‑solving, and organizational abilities. Thorough understanding of production processes, manufacturing equipment, and quality control standards. Influencing and convincing skills. Manufacturing operational performance. Ability to quickly identify and address production issues. Data analysis skills. Change management & implementation methodology. Manufacturing supply chain & planning. Manufacturing maintenance. Acts boldly and challenges the status quo. Willing to take risks and prioritizes speed over perfection (“fail fast, learn fast”). Open to new ideas and experimenting. Demonstrates strong integrity and sense of accountability; goes the extra mile. Shows strong performance consistently and leaves an impact on the business. Balances thoroughness with efficiency to work smarter. Challenges internal complexity and proposes improvements, starting with their own team. Achieves great results even in difficult conditions. Ability to use judgement well.
