Job Title : Production Line Leader / Technician

Reports To : Production Supervisor / Operation Manager

Job Summary :

The Production Line Leader is responsible for managing the daily operations of the production line, including leading a team of operators, ensuring production targets and quality standards are met, maintaining smooth line operations, and reporting daily productivity.

Key Responsibilities :

(1) Line operations - Execute daily production tasks as per production schedule. Organize and set up line and ensure all materials, equipment and manpower are ready for production according to schedule and product requirements. Monitor line performance (output, quality, efficiency, downtime and operator attendance) and escalate issues promptly.

(2) Team supervision - Supervise and lead production line operators to ensure smooth workflow and productivity. Support training and guidance for new operators on line procedures and quality expectations.

(3) Quality control - Ensure all products meet quality standards and specifications. Perform in-line quality checks (e.g. weight, sealing, labelling) and report defects. Maintain a clean and organised work area.

(4) Reporting and documentation - Ensure daily production output, productivity and material usage reports are accurately completed and submitted on time.

Requirements :

Minimum SPM or equivalent. Diploma, technical certificate / diploma is an advantage.

At least 2 - 3 years of experience in a manufacturing / production environment.

Experience in leading a small team is an added advantage.

Familiar with basic machine operations and production processes.

Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
