Responsibilities
Social Media Content Creation (Primary Focus)
Plan and manage the GIS social media calendar, ensuring timely, relevant, and brand-aligned content across platforms (Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, TikTok).Conceptualise and produce engaging multimedia content — including videos, reels, carousels, stories, and captions — tailored for each platform and audience segment.Identify trends, leverage platform features, and apply best practices to grow audience reach and engagement.Capture and curate visual content across the school to authentically reflect school life and student voice.Monitor social media analytics and provide regular insights and recommendations for improvement.Content Development & Communications
Write clear, high-quality content for blogs, newsletters, websites, editorials, and campaign materials.Collaborate with team members and departments to source and shape stories that reflect GIS values and priorities.Support the creation of internal communications and school publications such as yearbooks, brochures, and handbooks.Campaign & Brand Support
Assist with content needs for open days, marketing campaigns, and community events.Coordinate with designers, photographers, and videographers to ensure consistency in brand storytelling.Work with external vendors or agencies when required for campaign execution or asset production.Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in journalism, communications, media, marketing, or a related fieldMinimum 2 years of experience in social media content creation, digital marketing, or content writingProficiency in social media platforms and content creation tools (e.g. Canva, CapCut, Adobe Express, etc.)Basic video production / editing experience is a strong advantage.Familiarity with international education or school environments is a plus.Key Competencies
