AV Technician

The technician must be able to :

• Install and maintain audio visual equipment including display devices, projectors, televisions, camera systems, video teleconferencing systems (VTC), microphones and speakers.
• Provide excellent equipment services to meet client expectations.
• Perform equipment storage and transportation activities in a safe and secure manner.
• Manage inventory of equipment, wirings, and accessories to avoid shortages.
• Set up and operate audio visual equipment for trainings, presentations, meetings and conferences.
• Perform equipment additions, removals, repairs, replacements and inspections.
• Test equipment to ensure it is in good and safe working condition.
• Comply with hotel rules and regulations and be aware of company disciplinary and grievance procedures.
• Promote a helpful and professional image to customers and assist with prompt, caring and helpful service.
• Anticipate customer needs to enhance quality of service and customer satisfaction.
• Collaborate with colleagues to provide prompt support.
• Be flexible in assisting in other areas of the hotel as needed.
• Be familiar with the hotel’s emergency procedures and stay prepared for emergencies.
• Attend regular technical / skills training conducted by the hotel.
• Be familiar with related company documentation and the relevant Operational Standards for the role.
• Other duties as assigned.
