With a substantial exhibition space and the largest pillar-less exhibition hall in Malaysia, MITEC can accommodate thousands of visitors for various event setups. MITEC is a premier facility within the KL Metropolis and aims to lead in iconic developments in Southeast Asia. Role Description This is a full-time on-site role for a Sales Manager - Government at MITEC, located in Kuala Lumpur City. The Sales Manager will be responsible for developing and managing relationships with government clients, identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, and driving revenue growth. Daily tasks include creating and managing sales strategies, conducting market research, preparing sales presentations, negotiating contracts, and collaborating with internal teams to ensure successful event execution. Qualifications Proven experience in sales, preferably within the government or public sector Strong negotiation and contract management skills Ability to develop and implement effective sales strategies Excellent communication and presentation skills Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities Experience in managing client relationships and maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, or related field Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team Knowledge of the events and exhibition industry is a plus Seniority level
