Founded in 1981, Franky Construction Sdn Bhd quickly gained a strong presence in the civil and construction industries. Now known as the FRANKY Group of Companies, the group has diversified into mining, property development, materials supply, hospitality, and plantation over the last decade. The group is one of Malaysia's leading civil and building contractors and has a reputation for successfully completing high-quality developments on time. To date, the group has recorded a total work done of more than RM3 billion in various sectors including highways, infrastructure, and water supply works.

Role Description

The role is responsible for providing comprehensive support to the in‑house Secretarial Department in all aspects of corporate secretarial duties and functions. This includes reviewing and preparing board resolutions, company constitutions, statutory forms, and reports in compliance with regulatory requirements. The incumbent will ensure the timely submission of statutory documents and maintain proper and organized secretarial records for easy retrieval at all times.

In addition, the role involves advising internal and external stakeholders on corporate secretarial and compliance matters, ensuring the company’s adherence to statutory requirements, regulations, and guidelines prescribed by relevant regulatory authorities. The incumbent will also perform any other duties as assigned by Management to support the overall governance and compliance framework of the organization.

Qualifications

  • Experience in corporate secretarial duties and compliance
  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements and corporate governance
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks
  • Professional qualification in CGI(ICSA), MAICSA or equivalent is preferred
  • Familiar in the provisions of the Companies Act 2016, SSM requirements and other related laws and regulations.
  • Experience in the construction and property development industry is a plus
  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience
