Executive, Safety Health & Environment

Possess a Bachelor's Degree in Occupational Safety and Health, Environmental Science, or a related discipline.

Minimum of 3 years experience in the construction or property development sector, with a focus on Safety, Health, and Environment (SHE) functions.

Demonstrated experience in conducting risk assessments, site inspections, and incident / accident investigations.

Sound knowledge of local construction safety legislation and best practices.

Strong communication skills (both verbal and written) to effectively deliver SHE training, prepare comprehensive reports, and coordinate with site teams, management, regulators, and external stakeholders.

High attention to detail, particularly in ensuring compliance with legal, regulatory, and organizational SHE standards, including ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 requirements.

Familiarity with safety and environmental management systems, including proficiency in using SHE software for documentation, incident tracking, and compliance reporting.

Willingness and flexibility to travel to various project sites to perform inspections, verify SHE implementation, and ensure adherence to applicable legal and ISO standards

Responsibilities :

• Safety & Health Documentation - To develop, maintain, and manage Safety and Health documentation at the Head Office.
• Reporting & Record-Keeping - To collect and compile minutes of Safety and Health meetings, as well as monthly Safety and Health reports from project sites.
• Training & Awareness Programs - To coordinate and arrange OHSMS 45001 : 2018, EMS 14001 : 2015 awareness programs.
• Hazard & Risk Management - To assist in developing and maintaining Hazard Identification, Risk Assessment, and Risk Control (HIRARC).
• Safety & Health Objectives - To monitor and provide recommendations on Safety and Health objectives and targets to superiors
• Training Module Development - To assist in developing Safety, Health and Environmental awareness training modules.
• Inspection & Audit Compliance - To ensure the implementation of OHSMS 45001 : 2018 and EMS 14001 : 2015 inspection and audit programs at worksites and the Head Office.
• Audit & Inspection Preparation - To prepare audit and inspection checklists and assist superiors in executing audits and inspections per the scheduled plan.
• Corrective & Preventive Measures - To monitor recommendations for improvements and prevent recurrence of safety and health issues.
• Staff Development & Training - To assist in developing and implementing staff training programs related to Safety, Health and Environmental.
• To carry out any other duties as and when instructed by the Management from time to time.
