Responsibilities
- Prepare quarterly interim financial statements and ensure timely submission for the Bursa announcement.
- Prepare monthly / quarterly and year-end consolidation of financial reporting.
- Prepare group consolidation account and review divisional consolidation account.
- Prepare Board paper and review divisional Board paper as well as financial presentation to Board & Audit Committee.
- Perform balance sheet and profit or loss analytical review supported with variance analysis.
- Prepare and report Group quarterly forecast and annual budgets including Profit & Loss, Cash Flow Budget and capex together with detailed variance analysis and commentaries.
- Track and highlight on quarterly basis the actual results vs budgeted & forecasted results with variance analysis for key financial elements and revise budget if required.
- Submit financial and statutory reports on timely basis with accuracy.
- Prompt completion of Group year-end audit and filing of Holding Company and Subsidiary companies’ AFS on time.
- Assist in AGM / EGM preparation.
- Ensuring compliance to IFRS, Bursa listing requirements, Bank Negara, Securities Commission, SSM & other statutory requirements and regulations.
- Implement computerized consolidation processes.
- Prepare Group tax planning, review and undertake group tax planning to define the efficient group tax structure.
- Review deferred tax and income tax reconciliation.
- Statutory and Compliance Tax filing and Transfer Pricing.
- Treasury functions.
- Handle corporate exercise matters, including prepare proforma balance sheet and impact on identified potential corporate exercise.
- Responsible and manage day-to-day operations for holding company.
- Provide guidance and technical support to account staff in problem solving as and when situation required.
- Take initiative to identify areas for improvement and participate in continual improve activities.
- Review Group Accounting policy and procedures, develop SOP and enforce implementation throughout all subsidiaries.
- Interact with internal and external auditors, tax agents, bankers, advisers, relevant authorities and stakeholders.
- Perform any ad-hoc analysis and duties as and when required by the management.
Job Requirements
Minimum Degree in Accounting or equivalent qualification. ACCA / CFA will be added advantages.10 years in accounting & Finance at least 5 years in managerial capacity.Proficient in English and Bahasa Malaysia.#J-18808-Ljbffr
