Job Description

• Provide technical pre‑sales support in articulating infrastructure design with in‑depth product knowledge on any of the following technologies : Data Centre, Collaboration, Network and Security solutions.
• Drive solution sales by understanding clients’ technical needs, translating identified needs into solutions.
• Develop pre‑sales skills on the technologies of identified OEMs such as Cisco, Checkpoint, Palo Alto, Fortinet, Dell / EMC, HPE, VMware, F5 DNS and / or LTM.
• Prepare proposals.
• Support RFQ / RFP tenders in a shared centre environment, ensuring timely response to all qualified RFPs and tenders from a solution perspective to ensure bid submission.
• Communicate with internal or external stakeholders for requirement gathering using phone or collaboration tools.
• Lead discussions with clients for discovery of needs and information gathering.
• Document needs / requirements into solutions, validate with client and close off with a proposal translating client business needs into a technical solution.
• Craft initial bill of material / configuration for complex solutions; identify the suitable model based on capacity, sizing features and client IT environment needs.
• Understand current client infrastructure and propose relevant solutions and technical services scope of work required for end‑to‑end implementation.
• Facilitate and lead complex solutioning, working with client, principals and vendors for support and internal team, responsible for end‑to‑end integration and design.
• Estimate effort in man‑days and craft project implementation work breakdown structure, PM man‑days sizing and timelines.
• Draw network diagrams in Visio and prepare PowerPoint presentations, translating business requirements into technical design.
• Adhere to pre‑sales process and collaboration tools to communicate and deliver results.
• Perform self‑research on new products within supported OEMs in response to changing landscape of solution offering.

Experience and Skill Requirements

Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) is required.

Certified in a Gartner’s leader solution in Networking, Data Centre storage, server and backup solution in both traditional infrastructure and hyper‑converge environment.
