Job purpose :

Ensure Transhipment coordination running smooth and internal system is updated for SeaLead Shipping Malaysia.

Main tasks and responsibilities :

• Ensure the services are performed to service requirement.
• Be the point of contact for all related Transshipment matters for Port Klang in SeaLead network – acting with responsibility, due diligence and according to SeaLead’s values and goals.
• Work closely with POL, POD, Transshipment Desk and Feeders for space requisition, rates filing, and ensure smooth operations.
• Pro-actively taking care for idling Transshipment cargo in port to ensure minimum storage days and maintain values to customer.
• Ensure Transshipment connection is secured within specified free time.
• Communicate with Terminal s and Port Authority for Loading & Discharging matters including Special cargo arrangement.
• Provide information to all party involving Transshipment such as ETA check, connection details request from POL & POD .
• Ensure internal system are up to date with latest information by liaising with SeaLead support team and appointed PIC for any issue arise from time to time.
• Responsible to make sure Transshipment cost in port are keep to minimum level.
• Assist operation dept. regarding local operations, logistics matter and local customer as instructed by superior.
• Key person for Transshipment cargo damaged in Terminal and liaising with Claims team, Terminal, Loading & Discharge port, Stakeholders to ensure customer satisfaction align with SeaLead’s value.
• Able to handle and arrange Transloading activity with relevant Port Authority.
