Sales Manager - Medical IoT Business Group
The Sales Manager is responsible for driving the growth of Hitachi Asia Malaysia’s Medical IoT Business. This role develops and executes sales strategies, builds strong client relationships, and identifies new business opportunities.
The Sales Manager collaborates with internal teams and external partners to deliver tailored digital health, medical technology, and life sciences solutions, ensuring customer satisfaction and long-term partnerships.
Key Responsibilities
Sales and Business Development
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities in healthcare for Digital Health, Medical Tech, and Life Sciences Solutions.
- Build and manage a robust sales pipeline from lead generation to deal closure.
- Collaborate with the HASML Senior Consultant, Business Units (BU), and Group of Companies' solution teams on targeted lead generation campaigns.
Proposal Development & Client Engagement
Prepare and deliver compelling proposals tailored to client needs.Conduct client meetings, presentations, and solution demonstrations.Negotiate and finalize contracts in line with company policies.Target Achievement & Revenue Growth
Meet or exceed assigned sales targets and revenue objectives.Monitor and report on sales performance metrics.Develop strategies to penetrate new markets and expand existing accounts.Stakeholder Collaboration
Coordinate with BU / GrC technical and delivery teams to ensure successful solution implementation.Market & Industry Analysis
Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and technological advancements.Provide market intelligence and feedback to support product development and strategic planning.Education & Experience
Bachelor's or Master's Degree in information technology, Business, Marketing, Biomedical Engineering, Health Informatics, or related field.Minimum 3-5 years of sales experience, preferably in digital health solutions (EMR / HIS / PACS / LIS / CCIS / MDIP / Telehealth), Bio, Medical Devices, Pharma, and Life Sciences IT solutions.Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets in a B2B environment.Strong understanding of digital health, IoT technologies, and the healthcare ecosystem in Malaysia and Southeast Asia.Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a matrix organization.Willingness to travel as needed within Malaysia and the region.Required Skills
