Multi Midvest Sdn Bhd is the Sunway Group's asset management firm which was established in 2012. To focus on project consultation & management and construction services. As part of our growth, we are seeking a dedicated Legal Officer to join our team and support all legal, regulatory, and compliance matters related to our development projects. To succeed in this role, you must be agile, independent, a good team-player with positive attitude to learn and grow in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Draft, review, and manage contracts, sale and purchase agreements (SPAs), tenancy agreements, and other legal documents.
• Assist in legal due diligence for land acquisitions, joint ventures, and development projects.
• Liaise with lawyers, local councils, and regulatory bodies on land matters, strata titles, and compliance approvals.
• Monitor project-related legal timelines such as perfection of transfer, financing documentation, and regulatory submissions.
• Provide legal advice to internal departments including Sales, Project, and Finance teams.
• Maintain legal files, contract registers, and ensure proper documentation and filing of all legal correspondences.
• Support the company secretarial team with board resolutions, statutory filings, and compliance with SSM requirements.
