Summary
The Head of Sales is responsible for leading the hotel’s sales department, developing and executing sales strategies to maximize revenue, increase market share, and enhance customer satisfaction. This role involves overseeing corporate, group, MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Exhibitions), and leisure sales, while managing a high-performing sales team.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement strategic marketing plans and sales plans and forecasts to achieve corporate objectives for products and services.
- Create sales targets and networks with corporate, travel agent and government clients.
- Plan and oversee advertising and promotion activities including print, online electronic media, and direct email.
- Be aware of the strengths and weaknesses of our competitors in order to maximize success in selling against them and their pricing policies and special promotions.
- Help identify accounts with maximum profitability for intensive solicitation as well as others in the same industry with similar potential.
- Develops and manages sales / marketing operating budgets.
- Achieves satisfactory profit / loss ratio and market share in relation to preset standards and industry and economic trends.
Requirements
Minimum 5–7 years of sales experience in the hospitality industry, with at least 3 years in a managerial role .Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets, especially in corporate, MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, Exhibitions), and leisure segments.Strong leadership and team management skills with the ability to motivate and guide a sales team.#J-18808-Ljbffr
