About the Role

Join Enggang Management Services Sdn Bhd (EMS) to tell meaningful stories from the Al-Sultan Abdullah Royal Tiger Reserve (ASARTR) . You’ll plan, write, and optimise content across social, web, and email to grow awareness, engagement, and support.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Own the monthly content calendar (topics, owners, deadlines) and keep it on track.
• Write, edit, and proof bilingual (EN / BM) copy for posts, carousels, reels scripts, blogs, newsletters, and web pages.
• Translate technical conservation inputs into simple, public-friendly stories and impact updates.
• Plan strong hooks / CTAs per platform; schedule & publish; adjust based on performance.
• Craft copy for paid + organic campaigns and A / B test headlines, captions, and CTAs.
• Build and maintain a story bank, quotes repository, and EN / BM terminology / hashtag guide (quarterly refresh).
• Draft FAQ, comment-reply, and DM templates ; handle community responses with an empathetic tone.
• Apply basic SEO (keywords, headings, meta) to blogs and landing pages; refresh older posts.
• Write email newsletters (subject lines, snippets) and website copy (About, Programmes, Donate).
• Work closely with designers / creators for cohesive copy-visual storytelling.
• Ensure factual accuracy ; run a simple approval flow for sensitive wildlife / community topics.
• Uphold safeguarding, ethical comms, data / privacy ; ensure media rights / consents (including UGC) are recorded.
• Track post and page performance; produce a monthly snapshot (top posts, lessons, next actions) with recommendations.
• Use basic analytics / UTM to attribute traffic and conversions from content.
• Keep assets tidy in a lightweight DAM (folders, naming, versions) for easy reuse.
• Support events / activations with on-site copy (live updates, captions, quotes) when needed.
• Meet deadlines reliably; flag risks early and propose options.

What We’re Looking For

1–3 years in content writing and / or social media (agency or in-house).

Excellent writing / editing in English & Bahasa Malaysia ; strong hooks and CTAs.

Confident with FB / IG / TikTok / LinkedIn tools; basic SEO and email / newsletter know-how.

Comfortable with analytics (what worked / why) and fast, clean execution.

Nice to Have

Interest in NGOs / conservation, basic short-form video / scripts , AI writing tools, WordPress / Mailchimp.

Simple data visualisation and accessibility awareness.
