The Cloud Systems Engineer will be responsible for managing, monitoring, and optimizing cloud-based systems while providing L2 / L3 technical support for enterprise cloud services. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in cloud infrastructure, scripting, and troubleshooting, ensuring high availability and performance for customers. Responsibilities
Cloud Infrastructure & Support
Provide back-end cloud support for customer-facing teams, ensuring SLA compliance Monitor cloud services (AWS / Azure) for performance, security, and cost optimization Troubleshoot and resolve escalated cloud infrastructure issues (VM, networking, storage, DB) Analyze and troubleshoot customer file issues (XML, JSON formats) when required for investigations Maintain internal knowledge base (Confluence, KB articles) for incident resolution Automation & Optimization
Develop and maintain automation scripts (PowerShell, Python, Bash) for cloud operations Knowledge in CI / CD pipeline improvements (Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform - This is a plus) Identify and implement cost-saving measures in cloud resource usage Collaboration & Compliance
Work with DevOps, Security, and IT teams to ensure Cloud best practices Document processes and ensure compliance with IT security policies (ISO 27001, SOC 2) Participate in on-call rotation with on-call allowances
