Market Researcher

Overview

Travel locally and regionally to identify and engage potential suppliers, partners, and new business sources. Conduct on-site visits to suppliers, government agencies, and other organisations for meetings, negotiations, and information gathering. Source and evaluate materials, equipment, and services needed for company operations. Submit applications, reports, and documentation to government bodies, authorities, and licensing agencies. Handle and track business licensing, permits, and regulatory approvals to ensure compliance. Maintain accurate records of contacts, site visits, supplier profiles, and market data. Prepare detailed reports and updates for management based on field findings.

Requirements

• Diploma / Degree in Business, Marketing, Supply Chain, or related field.
• Prior experience in supplier sourcing, business development, or field-based research is an advantage.
• Willingness to travel frequently and work outside the office environment.
• Good networking and interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate professionally with stakeholders at all levels.
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail for handling documents and licensing requirements.
• Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and able to prepare clear reports.
• Possession of a valid driving licence and own transport.
