Sales & Business Development (BD), Executive
Performing the role as Sales & Business Development (BD), Executive for JJPM-NILAI Sales department with primary responsibilities :
- Identify new sales opportunities and new accounts to funnel long‑term sales growth.
- Prepare monthly sales reports, including monthly sales meetings, quarterly KA reports, competitor analysis, and low margin analysis.
- Identify local competitors’ activities and provide market insights with recommendations to the Sales / Company manager to create a strategic plan.
- Manage customer relationships with alliance partners to ensure the sustainability of IPD and trading business.
- Conduct stock management jointly with CS and the warehouse department to minimize obsolete stocks and maximize deliveries.
- Organize, plan, and manage the sales activities and promotion of the company’s product portfolio in the assigned sales area.
- Attend to sales enquiries, meet prospects to discuss requirements and expectations, offer solutions / technical advice, negotiate commercial terms, and close deals. This includes having deep knowledge of the customer product line to advise on product design, material selection, testing, and other technical assistance.
- Prepare costing and quotations for approval and submit them to customers within the agreed time frame. Prepare, review sales contracts (if any) and obtain approval from management.
- Oversee fulfillment of the initial order and ensure a smooth process for new project development, sample approval, and customer satisfaction.
- Manage customer escalations and collaborate with relevant departments for remedial actions, ensuring follow‑up actions satisfy customers.
- Monitor and review collections and payment matters with the Finance / Credit Controller & CS to minimize risk of potential bad debts and improve cash flow.
- Provide all relevant information in SAP on all commercial details both internally and externally (price, MOQ / MDQ, payment terms, etc.) to finance for creating new accounts / products.
- Any other roles and responsibilities assigned by the Sales Manager.
Business Development (BD)
Develop comprehensive business plans and identify new business opportunities and prospects.Collaborate on creative development, establish costing metrics, and coordinate with necessary suppliers.Lead negotiations and close deals for new business, ensuring alignment with company goals.Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, serving as their main point of contact.Monitor market trends and competitor activity to stay competitive and relevant.Identify opportunities to expand services with existing clients.Job Requirement
Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business, Economics, or any related field.Minimum of 3 years’ working experience; however, fresh graduates with strong potential are encouraged to apply.Strong analytical thinking and negotiation skills.Excellent communication and presentation abilities.Able to communicate effectively in Mandarin , both spoken and written, to engage with Mandarin‑speaking stakeholders.#J-18808-Ljbffr
