Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and review of monthly management account and annual financial statements in compliance with relevant statutory requirements and financial standards (e.g., MPERS or MFRS or IFRS, etc).
- Prepare annual budgets and rolling forecasts, including variance analysis and provide financial insights.
- Manage daily accounting operations including accounts payable, receivable, general ledger, intercompany and bank reconciliations, ensuring timely and accurate financial records in accordance with accounting standards.
- Ensure compliance with tax regulations, including review of tax computations and submissions.
- Liaise with auditors, tax agents and other stakeholders to ensure accurate and timely reporting.
- Enhance internal control systems and continuously improvements for financial processes and policies.
- Assist in the creation of new processes and system implementation include automation project
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure financial objectives are met
- Perform all other related assignments or ad hoc tasks as assigned by the Finance Manager or senior management from time to time.
Qualifications and Skills
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance; Professional certificate CPA, ACCA, CMA is a plus.At least 6 years working experience in finance and accounting; Experience in brokerage experience, financial services or fintech will be a plusProven experience in managing or leading a small finance teamProficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, etc) and familiar with accounting softwareExcellent analytical and problem-solving skills.Take initiative, ability to work under pressure, able to meet deadlines, meticulous, strong organized, team playerStrong verbal and written communication skill in English and Chinese.#J-18808-Ljbffr
