Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Field Veterinarian to support the health, welfare, and performance of our broiler farms. The role involves providing professional veterinary expertise, monitoring flock health, implementing biosecurity measures, and supporting farm teams to ensure optimal bird performance and compliance with regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and assess flock health status, conduct farm visits, and provide timely veterinary advice.
- Diagnose and manage poultry diseases, including treatment plans and vaccination programs.
- Implement and ensure compliance with biosecurity protocols and animal welfare standards.
- Conduct farm audits, prepare reports, and recommend improvements for flock performance.
- Support farm managers with technical training and disease prevention strategies.
- Collaborate with nutrition, production, and quality teams to ensure integrated farm performance.
- Assist in the application and maintenance of relevant farm certifications and licenses (e.g., MyGAP, VHM, or other regulatory requirements).
Requirements
Possess a recognized degree in Doctor of Veterinary MedicineWork experience is considered an advantage, but fresh graduates are welcome to apply as training will be provided.Ability to travel to farm sites.Capable of working independently and as an effective team player.Good communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.Application Questions
