Key Responsibilities :
- Assist in all food preparation tasks related to the Garde Manger station (cold kitchen).
- Ensure mise en place is ready prior to each service and maintain par stocks.
- Help maintain cleanliness and organization of the workstation.
- Prepare salads, cold appetizers, sandwiches, and other cold kitchen items as per recipes and standards.
- Assist senior chefs with station setup and breakdown.
- Properly label and store food items following HACCP guidelines.
- Report any equipment malfunctions or food shortages to the supervisor promptly.
- Ensure that food is prepared and presented according to hotel and quality standards.
- Obtain and stock requisitioned items from the storeroom as needed.
- Comply with all health and safety, food hygiene, and hotel policies.
Qualifications :
Vocational certificate or diploma in professional cuisine or culinary arts.Prior experience in a cold kitchen or professional culinary environment is preferred.Knowledge of HACCP and food safety procedures.Ability to work under pressure and in a fast-paced environment.Skills & Competencies :
Basic culinary skills and knife handling.Attention to detail in food preparation and presentation.Team player with a willingness to learn.Good time management and organizational skills.Effective communication in the national language and English.Strong work ethic and reliability.Job Type : Full-time
